Privacy, in plain words
This page is maintained by ProjectPinkOwl to answer common privacy questions about PushBackIQ. It describes app-visible controls today, not an independent certification.
What we don't collect
- No accounts, sign-ups, or passwords.
- No tracking cookies. No analytics, ad pixels, or session replay.
- No conversation history saved on our servers or in your browser. Reloading the page wipes the current session.
- We don't forward your IP address to Cloudflare Turnstile during abuse verification.
What we do process
- The text you type is sent to our server and forwarded to an AI provider (via Cloudflare AI Gateway) only to generate your reply.
- A one-time Cloudflare Turnstile token is checked to block automated abuse. It contains no personal profile of you.
- Standard web-server request metadata (such as your IP) may be visible to our hosting provider briefly to serve the request; we do not log it against your prompts.
Third parties in the loop
- Cloudflare — hosting, Turnstile abuse protection, AI Gateway routing.
- The upstream AI model provider (OpenAI or Google) generates responses. Retention on their side is governed by their terms and the AI Gateway configuration.
Practical tips
- Leave out names, addresses, or other identifiers you don't want shared with an AI provider — the tool works fine with pronouns and general context.
- Use “Start Over” to clear the current conversation immediately.
